Striped Cream Violet

Striped Cream Violet
Viola striata
There are a number of white Violet species in Indiana.  This one is characterized by having the flower stems originate from the plant stem rather than from the ground, and the stipules are large and jagged.


The stipules (leaf shaped things at the base of the flower stem) are large and jagged
