Eastern False Rue Anemone
Enemion biternatum
|
So, spell the scientific name backwards and it's "noimene mutanretib", which might as well be its scientific name. That's the thing about Latin, it's the same forwards as it is backwards. That's probably why no one uses it anymore.

False Rue Anemone has foliage similar to Rue Anemone, but the flowers have exactly five petals, whereas the (real) Rue Anemone has more. |
