Spotted Geranium

Spotted Geranium
Geranium maculatum
The Spotted, or Wild, Geranium is a delicate looking plant that lasts for a long time in nicer woodlands in Indiana.  It's hard to get a good picture because it sways in the gentlest breeze and it's usually dark in the woods and you need to stop down to get good depth of field, etc, etc, etc.  Plants are challenging that way.

Anyway, it's always nice to see them during a walk through the woods.

The leaves are palmate and deeply cleft with five lobes. Sort of reminds you of a person's hand.
