Pinnate Prairie Coneflower

Pinnate Prairie Coneflower
Ratibida pinnata

This is also known as Gray-headed or Yellow Coneflower and grows very well in prairie restorations in northeast Indiana.  Given its success here, I'm sure that it does well across the prairie states.  It's a pretty flower and does well in gardens.  INPAWS suggests that it be used in native plantings.
