Spotted St. Johnswort

Spotted St. Johnswort
Hypericum punctatum
St. Johnswort may be the most written about and celebrated plant in the world. It is actually named after John the Baptist, which shows the long history and religious significance of this plant and its genus-mates. It is an herbal that is and has been used to cure just about everything. There's too much for me to go into here, so if you're interested, Google away!

You'll find this hard to believe, but the best way to distinguish this plant from other St. Johnswort's is the spotted petals. You'll have to look close to see them.
