Culver's Root

Culver's Root
Veronicastrum virginicum
Culver's Root is a very striking plant while it is in bloom, which is only for about a month in the summer. It's candelabra of white flowers sticks above the surrounding vegetation and beckons you to come for a closer look.

The whorls of four serrated leaves can help in identification when the flowers are not present
