Shepherd's Purse

Shepherd's Purse
Capsella bursa-pastoris
Shepherd's Purse is very easy to identify.  Its seed pod looks just like a shepherd's purse and nothing else looks quite like it.

Has anyone ever seen a shepherd's purse, or even a picture of one?  Maybe at a sheep museum.

Shepherd's Purse has been used medicinally for all sorts of things.  Some people still use it.  It's edible, but don't eat a lot of it since it will make you sick, or cure you of something.  These statements are all based on web searching since I've never ingested it.  I may try this summer, just to see what it tastes like.
