What is there to say about Field Bindweed?  A lot I suppose.  It is in the Morning Glory family, Convolvulaceae.  This one is introduced to Indiana ("Please ta meecha!").  There are eleven species of Morning Glory's in Indiana, about half are native.

This one is considered to be an invasive weed that plagues farmers and gardeners.  It's quite common in fields, gardens, lawns, etc.  This is the one that looks like a bunch of small white disks scattered about a lawn as you drive by.  To me it's pleasing to the eye to see some color in a dull green lawn.
