Browneyed Susan
Rudbeckia triloba
|
In my impression, Browneyed Susan is a daintier sister to the other Rudbeckia's, i.e. Blackeyed Susan. It's a mid-sized Rudbeckia with smaller flowers but more of them per plant. They tend to grow in small groups wherever I've seen them, mostly prairie-type places.

The flowers are smaller than the Blackeyed Susan |

Lower leaves are tri-lobed |

The upper leaves are not tri-lobed |
