Smallspike False Nettle

Smallspike False Nettle
Boehmeria cylindrical
False Nettle is better than Stinging Nettle, from a wearing shorts through the woods point of view. From an edible point of view, Stinging Nettle is far better. Nothing I've read indicates that False Nettle is edible. If you have first-hand knowledge, please comment.

The flowerheads grow in spikes emanating from the base of the leaves
Or, they just grow in clusters at the leaf base
Leaves are toothed, much like other members of the Urticaceae family
