Canada Germander
Teucrium canadense
|
Canada Germander's claim to fame is its oddly shaped flower. You need to bend over to get a good look at it, but it's a very unique configuration of petals. The large lower lip is a perfect platform for pollinating insects to land on and the spots are lined up as a runway to follow into the middle of the flower to pick up some pollen.
